Fight against AIDS

December 1 is AIDS Day. Many people participate in the programs to fight against HIV AIDS organized by local, national and international organizations. Nepalese die in thousands every year due to insufficient food, safe drinking water, birth problems and lack of medical facilities. However, such cases are not voiced and very few organizations are involved to fight against such problems. It is simply due to local or regional problem and interest of international institutions is low. Problem of AIDS compared to other diseases is less but the programs and involvement of people is high due to its international connection. I do not know how effective the programs are, awareness is quite high. You can also see in the picture that a man is covering with a banner of a slogan ‘World AIDS day – December 1’.
