Snow after 62 years - global warming or cooling?

After 62 years, Kathmandu Valley received snow fall (0n Wednesday Feb 15, 2007) . Kathmandu used to receive cold dew every winter and snow in the hills surrounding the valley. However, this time the valley located at 4387 feet itself received the snow.

For general people, it is fun but for scientists it is a big question. Is it due to climate change and global warming?. The atmosphere is definitely getting warm due to infrastructural and industrial development but globe, Earth, itself is on the process of cooling. Hence, which effect is causing snow fall in Kathmandu?
