Nepal's broadband within world's top ten

I find interesting and exciting news on the broadband internet connectivity condition of Nepal. Few days ago I have read complain (I think Kantipur News paper) about the problem with ADSL service and connection associated with Nepal Telecom ADSL internet. However, Nepal’s broadband (>5 Mbps) connectivity is not that bad as reported in those news papers. It has been ranked in World’s top ten lists in terms of best-connected countries. The report of Akamai (http://www.akamai.com/stateoftheinternet/) lists Nepal in 9th position securing the position between Netherlands (8th) and Norway (10th). I do not understand one thing: The highest bandwidth provider in Nepal is NTC and it only offers up to 256KBps for public till now and winning the best connectivity status of 5Mbps.
