Enhance media player volume

If you are facing weak or low video or audio sound in windows media player, here is an option to make it loud enough for comfortable hearing.

1. Insert your cd or dvd and open it with windows media player. Pause the CD if you don't want to miss the visuals or musics from the beginning.

2. Go to 'Tools' menu and click 'Options'. Now you will see the windows like the picture below.

3. Click 'DVD' sub menu

4. You will see three icons 'Change...', 'Defaults...' and 'Advanced...'. Click the icon 'Advanced...'

5. Now in the 'main' options, you will see the default 'gain' and 'DRC' as 0 (zero) dB. Move the level to +20 dB and click 'Apply'. Click ok to close all these icons. Now play or click pause bottom to start your CD and your player should sounds loud than before.

It worked with my laptop and I am using Windows media player 11. I hope it should also work on other versions. If it doesnot work or if you need help, please comment on it.
